What's Floating Around Cloud 9? 2nd April

Who would've thought that Easter is almost upon us...it doesn't seem five minutes since Christmas!

It's a short week so with so much to pack in, we better get to it!

We start with a push on our Royal Ascot Ladies Day comes to Nottingham event and our friends Focus Magazine. We have a promotional ad running in the April issue which will be followed by a competition in the May issue, where on lucky reader has the opportunity to win two free tickets to the event on 21st June.

We are also starting to get some great prizes for the raffle and competitions during the day with the latest being a special treatment from Facial Enhancement Nottingham, donated by Karen Denwood. Facial Enhancement Acupuncture is designed to help you achieve a smoother, firmer, more radiant and relaxed look with a natural facial enhancement treatment. This rejuvenating, regenerating facial acupuncture treatment leaves you feeling relaxed and calm, reflecting a healthier vibrant appearance.

You can find out more about this and the other treatments on offer from Facial Enhancement Nottingham via http://www.facialenhancementnottingham.co.uk/

We are still on the hunt for prizes though in support of Breast Cancer Care so please help if you can. Not only will it help enhance the event but you can also make a real difference to this great charity.

Please email paula@cloud9em.co.uk for additional information.

The full line up for the CIPR Northern Conference 2012 will be announced shortly but we are delighted that the workshops are all now confirmed with Andy Green concentrating on Creativity, Paul Mallett on Digital Media and Professor Anne Gregory of Leeds Met, covering Leaders of the Future.

Early bird tickets are still available for the Conference right up until 20th April, with a substantial discount on the normal ticket price. For full details please visit the booking page on Eventbrite http://ciprnc2012.eventbrite.com/

April is also a big month for Fresh as we get set to launch the 2012 Creative Awards towards the end of the month with new categories and a great new creative treatment for the year from McCann Erickson in Birmingham.

We are also starting to confirm the full line up of judges over the different juries: Advertising, Design, Medua & Digital and whilst we have many of the same faces on the panels this year, we are also pleased to be welcoming some new names into the Fresh fold for 2012, with the likes of Charley Varley from Carat Manchester on Media and Alistair Campbell from Agency Republic on Digital.

We will save the full list of judges for the launch but please be assured, our juries go from strength to strength each year, and we even have Trevor Beattie judging a category this year. As we have Bil Bungay chairing Advertising again, if we could just get Andrew McGuinness to lend a hand, we would have a full BMB contingent!
